Today, I heard the spirit of the Lord telling me to stay at home and rest. Maybe he can see that I'm really tired, and I do not feel it right now. God knows best, and sometimes being tired can come down on you all at once. Depression can too. Just because you don't feel it, it does not mean that it is not there.
I thought about going out to buy a pizza today, but in so many words according to the Bible, you are not suppose to buy or sell. That is the way the people believed in the Old Testament. Nehemiah 10:31 And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
Then I think about what Jesus said. Matt. 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even on the sabbath day. Mark 2:27 And he said unto him, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.
So what I have decided to do since I do not have any food done is to open a big can of Chunky Soup (LOL). At least I do have something in the house to eat. If I did not have anything to eat, my only choice would have been to buy the pizza unless someone would have invited me over for dinner with food cooked and done.
Some people do not believe that we have to keep the sabbath, but it is one of the Ten Commandments. Some people do not even believe that we have to keep the Ten Commandments. I always search the scriptures and try to go by the Bible.
Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
